Eric J. Zogry

Juvenile Defender

Eric J. Zogry was appointed North Carolina Juvenile Defender by the Commission on Indigent Defense Services in November 2004. Prior to his appointment, he served as an assistant public defender in Greensboro, where he practiced exclusively in juvenile delinquency court and involuntary commitment court. Previously, he worked for the North Carolina Sentencing and Policy Advisory Commission and the Research Division of the Administrative Office of the Courts. He received a B.A. with honors in Religious Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992 and a J.D. from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1996.
